Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:
“Primarily, I have a deep affection for children. Being a mother myself, nurturing my own kids has been the most fulfilling role in my life. One of the key motivations behind my decision to pursue a career as an ECD educator is the gratification that comes from positively impacting the lives of young children.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a childcare provider?
"I am experienced and qualified in all child age groups, from birth to older children. From my experience with child care, I am equipped for umbilical cord care, colic care, introduction of soft and solid foods, and baby routines. I am also skilled in sleep monitoring, daily routines, and communication activities that promote mental stimulation."
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”My perspective is that as Early Childhood educators, our role involves evaluating a child's developmental requirements and objectives, as well as designing and coordinating activities aimed at promoting and fostering their growth.“
