What makes you a good caregiver?

“I am a caring, sympathetic, and patient caregiver. who is trustworthy and respectful, because the elderly are more delicate I have a softer approach when assisting them.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?

“I've gained experience in various types of health conditions such as Palliative, Pressure, and Disability care and other requirements that I’ve learned in my time at various care facilities. I am also trained and experienced in PEG feeding amongst other things.”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

“The most exciting part about working with seniors is that you are improving on your caregiving skills as well as personal skills, such as good communication and working well under pressure.”

What was your best day at work and why was it good?

“My best day at work would be the day I got to do my training at an old age home when I had the chance to use what I’ve learned in theory on clients. It made me feel good because finally, I was able to do my passion, which is caring for the elderly.”
