‘‘I remember when I was doing training at Kuilsriver Netcare hospital, I assisted a patient who had a stroke. It was easy for me to communicate with that patient even though he was unable to speak. During my time with the patient, I was able to help the patient finish their food which is not an easy task for someone with a stroke’’

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

“Helping seniors is one of the gifts I have. I love to give and help those who are in need of care’’
