“I believe I am a good caregiver as I have acquired the relevant knowledge and experience needed. I am passionate about my work and consider myself a very ambitious and hard-working person who can cope extremely well under pressure.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?
“I feel most qualified working in Dementia, Mental and Physical Disability, Palliative, Frail and Pressure care, and other requirements from my experience working at frail care facilities and hospitals.”
What makes you most excited about working with seniors?
“I get excited to work with seniors as we learn from each other. I feel privileged to be taught by seniors as they are so full of knowledge and wisdom. When working with clients, it is important to be patient and calm, however they make it so easy.”
What was your best day at work you've ever had and what made it so good?
“The best day at work was when my client that I cared for, who had poor appetite, started to eat healthily again and recover well. The client was much happier and my manager was really impressed. Being recognised for my good care made me feel so good.”
