“Throughout my career path, I've embraced diverse roles, from being a pastry chef to assisting with packing and eventually teaching. My affinity for working with children stems from their unique perspective on the world. Witnessing their genuine curiosity, the joy of discovery, and their unfiltered reactions to new experiences is truly inspiring. Moreover, I find immense fulfillment in learning from them, as they constantly offer fresh insights and perspectives.”
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”The typical roles and responsibilities of a childcare provider includes organising a consistent daily routine for children and making sure that children are safe and reporting concerns. It involves supporting children’s development such as providing activities that develop their understanding of the world and help them to learn new skills.”
What makes you excited to work with children?
”Children are full of excitement and unpredictability. Working with them brings a sense of joy, love, laughter, care, and sometimes a few tears. It's an opportunity to engage in activities and games alongside them, adding an element of fun to the experience.”
