“I am a flexible, friendly but professional person who is not afraid of facing challenges. In case of emergency I always manage to keep a level head. My reason for pursuing ECD is because I am passionate about children and ensuring that they get the best start in life. I see the need for good quality education particularly in the rural areas and that's where I intend to focus on.”
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”I think the role and responsibilities of childcare providers range from paying attention to the needs of each child, providing care, support and guidance as well as ensuring that the children in your care develop in all aspects of their lives. The role also includes creating a warm and safe and learning environment allowing each child to reach their maximum development capacity.”

”What excites me about working with children is their energy, openness to learning, unhindered creativity, inquisitive minds.”
