“I chose ECD because I have a passion for working with kids. It’s all in the way you get to brighten up a child’s face when you do something nice for them, it melts my heart. I really want to make a difference in children's lives and I want to be the reason someone says if it wasn't for me, she or he couldn't have done it and that's my main goal."
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”To offer love, guidance, appreciation , and acceptance. You need to nurture them and help them fully develop their own personality and identities and most of all protect them.”
What makes you excited to work with children?
”The fact that you see how they grow from a baby to a toddler. You get to witness how they learn new things and you create bonds with them - that's the best part.”
