“I am good caregiver because of my kindness and willingness to help people in need. Helping people makes me happy and at ease, it's not just a job but my calling.”
Your best day at work you've ever had and what made it so good?
“My best day at work was the first time I met an old man who suffered from Dementia. We built a good relationship and he became my beacon of light and encouraged me to do good all the time.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?
“I’ve cared for mentally disabled and dealt with frail care. I am good at assessing and monitoring basic vital signs, aiding in personal hygiene and grooming, catheter and pressure care. From my experience in the health industry I’ve learnt many other skills that a client might need and do not shy away from light housekeeping.”
What makes you most excited about working with seniors?
“The most exciting part about working with seniors is the humility and love shown towards me. I learn lots of things from them as they are so wise and experienced, they motivate me by how they strive despite their challenges.”
What is something special and unique about you that many people might not know?
“I'm a very creative person and I love singing. I believe that singing equips with healing.”
