Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:
"I chose ECD because I have a passion for working with children. I want to create a safe, nurturing environment to build their confidence, support their growth, and inspire a lifelong love of learning."
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
"In my opinion, the role of a childcare provider in ECD is to create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and cared for emotionally and physically. This includes nurturing emotional well-being by listening, comforting, and building trust to help children express themselves and develop self-confidence."
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a childminder?
"I excel at creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel secure and valued. I connect with them emotionally, provide comfort when needed, and encourage them as they explore and grow."
What makes you excited to work with children?
"I love working with children for their curiosity and joy. It's rewarding to support their growth, build their confidence, and watch them overcome challenges."
