“I am compassionate and empathetic. This enables me to understand fully the needs and requirements of those in my care. I am able to adapt to my client’s unique care plan and use my own initiative from experience gained over the years. “

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?
"I have experience in general elder care and the necessary skills to assist clients needing specialized care. My expertise includes post-operative care, disability care, palliative care, pressure care, dementia care, PEG tube feeding, basic catheter care, vital signs monitoring, and wound care. I am committed to providing quality support tailored to each client's specific needs."

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

“Understanding their needs and knowing that I make their lives easier by assisting them with daily living activities. Helping to uplift their mood and having good conversations with them..”

What was the best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?

”My best day was when I was assigned to care for a senior lady with mild dementia. She had just started her stay and the retirement home and was confused about her new surroundings. I managed to help her understand the changes in her surroundings and explain the different activities that they get to do and she managed to calm down. She ended up spending the whole day feeling better and I really found joy in this.”

What’s the most interesting thing about you that we don’t know from your resume?
”I am currently studying accounting full time.”
