What makes you a good caregiver and child minder?

“As a mother, pediatric caregiver as well as elderly caregiver, I ensure their safety through continuous observation, maintaining constant vigilance. I attend to their nutritional and hygiene needs diligently, while also providing them with affection and compassionate care around the clock.”

Your best day at work you've ever had and what made it so good?

“I once assisted a Registered Nurse in resuscitating a patient while working at Netcare Hospital. It was the most exhilarating experience .”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver as well as a child minder?

“ Over the years working in frail care facilities, private hospitals, and private clients, I have gained the necessary experience in assisting with general Frail Care, Dementia Care, Palliative Care, Post-Operative Care, Physical Disability Care, Assessing Basic Vital Signs, Basic Catheter Care, Stoma Care, Stroke Care, Diabetic Care, Pressure Care, Wound Care Monitoring, Transferring assistance, Basic Oxygen Therapy assistance, PEG Feeding assistance.I have also obtained the necessary experience for childcare and children with disability through the pediatric ward and also with private childcare clients”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors as well as kids?

“Assisting them where necessary and developing a friendship with them. Being a part of their journey of growth and development is incredibly rewarding in childcare and having a positive impact within elder care.”

What is something special and unique about you that many people might not know?

“Part-time, I work for a plumber's company in my community. I'm always up for a challenge
