What makes you a good caregiver and childminder?
“I'm a very hard-working person. I love taking care of elderly people, I go the extra mile for them. I have 5 years’ experience in working with elderly people with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. My patients are, at all times, my number one priority. Additional to my caregiving, I am currently pursuing an Early Childhood Development Practitioner course to extend my knowledge on care for children.”
Your best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good.
“My best day at work was when I done exercises with the patient. Putting a lot of effort in gained the patients trust. I saw a lot of improvement regarding the patient, for example, from where the patient was and where the patient is now. To put a lot of effort in is the most important thing to encourage the patient.”
What makes you most excited about working with seniors and children?
“What makes me most excited is to learn from one another, to gain trust, help improve their lives in any way I can, and motivation plays a big roll as well. The exciting part about working with children is getting to watch them grow and learn, and to have fun with them while learning.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a Caregiver?
“Over the years, I have gained experience in Dementia Care, Physically Disabled Care, Palliative Care, Care of schizophrenic patients, Catheter Care and Pressure Care.”
What’s the most interesting thing about you that we don’t know from your resume?
