"I am deeply passionate about working with children and dedicated to fostering their growth and development. I believe that the early years are crucial in shaping a child's future, and I am committed to providing the guidance, support, and encouragement they need to reach their full potential.”
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”From my point of view, the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in the ECD field include teaching, protecting, encouraging, and supporting the holistic development of each child. This involves nurturing their cognitive, physical, and emotional growth, creating a safe and stimulating environment, and developing a sense of confidence and well-being.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a childminder?
"I am patient, organised, and communicate effectively with young children. Having worked as a teacher’s assistant for Grade 1, I have gained valuable insight into how to support their development and foster a positive learning environment."
What makes you excited to work with children?
”I enjoy getting to know their personalities, teaching them new things, and watching them progress - from initially struggling with certain skills to becoming confident and excelling at them."
