“I started my training in Healthnicon Western Cape Campus in Parow from 2008 as Home base carer I continued my studies to be enrolled nursing assistant till 2010. August 2010 I've worked at Booth memorial Hospital as ENA till June 2011. I’ve furthered my studies at the same college as a Enrolled Nurse till 2012.

I have worked in various hospitals moonlight for different agencies, in 2014 March I got A permanent post as an Enrolled Nurse at Tygerberg hospital orthopedic ward.

Nice experience I’ve gained there but needed to grow in my career, decided to resign in 2016 December to further my studies.

Went back to Healthnicon for general bridging course in 2017 then finished at Netcare Western Cape Campus 2019, I registered in February 2020.

“I started my training in 2015 at Lilitha College of Nursing where I acquired my Nursing Qualification in the 2018 in General Nursing, Community Nursing , Psychiatrics Nursing and Midwifery.

In 2020 I advanced my learning in HIV and TB Management and acquired a National Certificate of NIMART through an accredited medical institution , Aquah School of Training in which I advanced within the field to NIMART Clinical mentorship.

I completed an Adult Primary Care Qualification through UCT initiation program for learning accompanying this is a dispensing license which I completed through Sefako Makgatho University of Pharmacy in 2022.

I am currently studying at Cape Peninsula University of Technology, doing my postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing and in the process of acquiring my certificates in Audiometry and Spirometry through a medical accredited institution, Education for Health Africa”.

After studying for 4.5 years for my B Cur degree, I qualified as a Professional Nurse in 1976. It was in the Cardio Thoracic ICU that I found my niche in nursing and received a diploma in ICU nursing. I decided to broaden my experience by working for COHSASA, a South African organization that accredits hospitals.

I completed a 6-year stint at St Lukes Hospice as the Education Coordinator. In Hospital I worked for 7 years as the Night Duty Supervisor and thereafter I was transferred to the Education Department where I was the facilitator of mostly 1st-year students.

My favorite area of nursing is palliative care, in which I completed a certificate course. In my view, accompanying the patient on their final road before death is a special privilege.

Currently, I am assisting as the physical home nurse assessor for CareChamp in the Gauteng region. This comprises of home care assessments and care plan creation as well as required nursing procedures. I also ensure to identify the best suitable caregiver(s) for our clients in Gauteng.

I have 2 sons living in the UK as well as 2 grandchildren. I enjoy reading, watching Netflix, sewing baking, gardening, watching the sea with all its different faces and meeting friends for Coffee as often as possible.

I trained as a Staff Nurse at Somerset Hospital and went on to qualify as a Professional Nurse at Addington Hospital in Durban, finishing at Victoria Hospital. I worked for a busy GP practices and Specialist Gynaecologists before working as a medical waste representative for Waste Tech for 8 years.

I am a registered assessor and facilitator with Local Government SETA and Health & Welfare SETA and have trained students in Environmental Practice learnerships and Ancillary Health Care Learnerships. I am also A Basic Life Support Instructor with American Heart Association.

Currently I am assisting as the physical home nurse assessor for CareChamp in the Cape Town region.This comprises of home care assessments and care plan creation as well as required nursing procedures. I also ensure to identify the best suitable caregiver(s) for our clients in Cape Town.

I did my training at Ann Latsky College and my practical at the old Kempton Park Hospital. When I got married, I went to work at doctor's rooms.

The nursing blood was too strong and I went back to the hospital, where I also did my Theatre nurse training. I worked there until the hospital closed in 1997.

I went to a private hospital, and left there to start the new millennium as a private nurse practitioner, I did wound care, frail care, oxygen therapy, and also ran a baby clinic and primary healthcare at a Pharmacy.

In 2017 I became a stay at home granny for my 2 grandsons. I currently assist as a Home Nurse Assessor for CareChamp and enjoy to still have contact with patients.

I am a Registered Nurse & Midwife with over 15 years of experience in environments ranging from hospitals to clinics, doctors rooms & home-based care, with a wide scope of practice in evidence-based nursing care as well as the holistic health management.

I am a great communicator, organised, empathetic & patient by nature, able to self-managed & work autonomously as well as in a team.

I do Baby Massage classes, needlework, I also do volunteer work at one of our local Creche's, Sizamele Creche in Imizamo Yethu with basics like child care, hygiene, baby massage and first aid.

In my free time I like reading a lot and walking. Family time is very precious to me, and I enjoy being with my 3 kids when I can.

I started working as a Registered Nurse in 2007 at Tygerberg Hospital and in 2008 I moved to Eastern Cape to gain valuable experience in various disciplines of Nursing Care.

I graduated in 2005 as a Registered Nurse .I have started my working career at Tygerberg Hospital in 2006. I first started in the obstetric and gynae theater for about 3 months thereafter moved to the labour ward.

Tygerberg Hospital is a tertiary hospital and I have been exposed to different entities such as maternal ICU, High risk labour , antenatal and post natal ward.

I am very passionate about teaching and have been a presenter at Stellenbosch University as well as a clinical facilitator from Aug 2011 to 2013 to assist the advance and Basic midwifery students.
