Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) to support the Head of College. The ideal candidate will be a strong multi-tasker, capable of handling various administrative tasks, engaging with partnering schools, compiling reports, and managing communication. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth daily operations and effective communication within the college and with our partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in an educational setting or similar environment.

  • Familiarity with using communication tools and platforms.

  • A matriculant, and (ideally) a tertiary education graduate*.

Our Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to engage professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proactive, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Your responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head of College.

  • Manage incoming chats and calls, ensuring timely and professional responses.

  • Compile, format, and distribute reports, utilizing Excel and other tools.

  • Organise Data ongoing within our E-learning platform

  • Coordinate and communicate with partnering schools, students, and other stakeholders.

  • Assist in planning and executing college events and meetings.

  • Prepare and send out regular communication to partnering schools, students, and other relevant parties.

  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, and maintaining office equipment.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Remuneration: Depending on your experience, we’re offering a remuneration package from R10 000 - R14 000/month basic.

Hours: Our flexible hours schedule allows employees to start between 7am-9am. You’ll be expected to work 40 hours/week and receive 15 leave days annually.
