Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:
"I'm a curious and hardworking person who loves learning, though I can be a bit shy at times. I chose this career because I find children fascinating. As a parent, I want to learn more about kids and gain personal experience in teaching, both to support my own children and to help others grow and learn. It's a journey of mutual teaching and learning that excites me."
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
"The typical role of a childcare provider is to ensure the care, safety, and well-being of children while nurturing a loving and supportive environment. They encourage socialisation, help build relationships, and promote physical, cognitive, and social development."
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a childminder?
"There are several areas where I feel highly qualified, especially as I care for my own child at home. This includes feeding, bathing, changing nappies, soothing them, and ensuring they fall asleep during nap time."
What makes you excited to work with children?
"I look forward to the fun and joy that comes with working alongside vibrant, happy children. The opportunity to teach and assist them daily, while experiencing the warmth, laughter, and happiness they bring, is truly exciting."
