Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:
"I am a community developer, I established my own organization during high school, focusing on teaching children various disciplines such as dance, drama, music, life skills, and academics. My desire to become an Early Childhood Development (ECD) practitioner stems from a profound aspiration to impart my skills and abilities to young children. Additionally, I envision opening my own academy, where I can design a curriculum that not only nurtures their talents but also equips them with essential skills for their future.”
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”The role and responsibilities of a childcare practitioner encompass not only ensuring the safety and comfort of children but also facilitating their holistic development, providing educational and stimulating activities, fostering positive social interactions, maintaining communication with parents or guardians, and creating a nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth.”
What makes you excited to work with children?
”What fills me with excitement about working with children is the sheer joy they bring. Their presence has a remarkable ability to sweep away any concerns, and I find myself consistently adopting a positive attitude around them. Engaging with children allows me to immerse myself fully in the moment, enjoying playful interactions and creating wonderful memories together.”
