“ I think patience and compassion are essential. This job requires a lot of tolerance for challenging situations, and good communication and a positive attitude also go a long way. Mostly it needs endurance and physical ability to support patients with certain tasks. I have all that and more.’

” Over the years working in frail care facilities, Nurture Health Aurora | Rehabilitation Facility, and private clients through CareChamp, I have gained the necessary experience in assisting with general Frail Care, Dementia Care, Palliative Care, Post-Operative Care, Physical Disability Care, Assessing Basic Vital Signs, Basic Catheter Care, Stoma Care, PEG insertion and feeding, Stroke Care, Diabetic Care, Pressure Care, Wound Care Monitoring, Transferring assistance, and Basic Oxygen Therapy assistance as well as childcare.”

What was the best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?
” I was introduced to a patient who had a stroke so she couldn't do anything, I changed her diet plan, and she started looking healthy and recovering she would wake me up every morning excited about doing exercises to improve her life and well-being. That made me realize I'm not just doing this because of employment I was born to look after seniors. ”
