Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:
"I would describe myself as an ambivert, able to be both extroverted and introverted depending on the situation. I’m adaptable and enjoy connecting with others, often listening more than speaking. As a Christian with a deep love for children, I chose to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development (ECD). My ultimate goal is to open my own ECD center, which I believe is part of God's plan for me."
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
"A childcare provider creates a safe, nurturing space for children to grow and learn, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being. They build positive relationships with children and families while guiding development and encouraging independence."
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a childminder?
"I understand children's developmental needs and am patient and attentive when working with them. I prioritize hygiene and create a friendly, welcoming environment."
What makes you excited to work with children?
"I believe early childhood is the most important phase in a child’s life, shaping their future. Being part of that journey and contributing to a child’s development excites me."
