What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”From my point of view, the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in the ECD field include teaching, protecting, encouraging, and supporting the holistic development of each child. This involves nurturing their cognitive, physical, and emotional growth, creating a safe and stimulating environment, and developing a sense of confidence and well-being.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a childminder?

I feel most qualified to be a childminder in the area of nurturing and early childhood education. I have successfully completed a Grade 1 - 3 Play-Based Learning Course certificate, equipping me with the skills and knowledge to create engaging and educational learning environments for children. I am patient, attentive, and deeply understand the unique emotional, social, and developmental needs of children, which allows me to build trust, foster a positive environment, and support their growth and well-being effectively.”

What makes you excited about working with children?

I truly value the opportunity to be the first point of contact for the children, as it allows me to play a vital role in shaping their early experiences. I am committed to nurturing and guiding them to become kind, compassionate, and responsible individuals who make a positive impact on the world.
