Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:
"I’m a kind and loving person who enjoys reading, nature, and long beach walks. With a certificate in expressive sand works observation, I chose ECD because I love helping children thrive and creating a safe, supportive space for them to grow."
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
"They provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. They support and encourage children, promote physical activities, and foster social interaction. Additionally, they help children build their sense of identity and achieve developmental milestones."
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a childminder?
"Ensure regular feeding, assist with homework, help children manage emotions, oversee bath times and diaper changes, and take them on stimulating outings to support their development."
What makes you excited to work with children?
"I love children and watching them reach milestones, like saying their first words or remembering their first rhyme. I enjoy teaching and find every child fascinating and unique."
