Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:
"I decided to pursue a career in ECD because of my deep passion for children. From a young age, I cared for my family's children, and that's when my love for working with kids blossomed. I am committed to doing everything in my power to help children in any situation."
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”A childcare provider's role in ECD is to care for children while offering skills and knowledge. They must be patient, loving, and supportive, especially during emotional times. Ensuring the child's health and happiness, and treating each child equally, are also key responsibilities.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a childminder?
"I believe I am capable in all skills as I consider myself highly flexible. I can teach, feed, bathe, care for, listen to, and observe children. I am comfortable working with any age group and am patient, caring, and vigilant."
What makes you excited to work with children?
"I'm excited about working with children because I know I can make a difference in their lives. Having worked with them before, I understand what is expected, and I'm ready for the challenges and storytelling."
