Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development as a current caregiver:

“Before transitioning to early childhood development, I worked as a nursing caregiver and still currently service in the field, which gave me invaluable experience in providing compassionate care to individuals. Through my time in nursing, I developed a strong foundation in empathy, patience, and understanding the needs of those I cared for. While I truly loved helping the elderly, I found myself drawn more and more to the energy and potential in children. I realized that early childhood development offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact during such an important and formative time in a person's life. I’m excited to combine my caregiving experience with my passion for working with children, as I believe both fields share a common goal: to support and nurture individuals in their growth, health, and well-being..”

What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”I believe that the roles and responsibilities of a childcare provider encompass not only keeping children engaged and captivated but also working diligently towards their optimal development and well-being. Moreover, I see learning with children as an enjoyable and essential aspect of childcare, particularly considering their tender age and delicate nature. It's crucial to create an environment where learning is both enriching and enjoyable for them.”

What makes you excited to work with children and seniors?
”I find fulfillment in spending time with children because I adore their unique perspective on the world . The resilience portrayed by seniors and perspective often bring a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for life. I find it rewarding to provide companionship, comfort, and support to seniors, knowing that small gestures can brighten their day and enrich their quality of life..”
