New Mom Care (specifically for C-Section)

  1. Assistance with Mobility: Helping the new mom with getting in and out of bed, sitting down and standing up, and walking around to promote circulation and aid in recovery. Providing support during daily activities to reduce the risk of straining the incision site.

  2. Hygiene and Personal Care:

    Sitz Bath or Shower Assistance: Preparing a sitz bath or assisting with showers to ensure the mom can maintain personal hygiene comfortably. Ensuring the bath or shower area is safe and the water temperature is appropriate.

    Changing Bedpans: Assisting with the use of bedpans or providing help with trips to the bathroom to ensure the mom can manage her hygiene needs safely and comfortably.

  3. Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks to support the mom’s recovery and provide her with the necessary energy and nutrients. Ensuring meals are easily accessible and cater to any dietary restrictions or preferences.

  4. Light Housekeeping: Assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up, laundry, washing dishes, and keeping the living area clean and organized. This helps create a comfortable and stress-free environment for the new mom.

  5. Emotional and Practical Support: Providing emotional support and companionship to help the mom feel cared for and less isolated. Offering practical assistance with baby care, such as feeding, diaper changes, and soothing the baby, to allow the mom to rest and recover.
