Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:
"I am a hard-working and driven individual who embraces challenges. I consider myself open and honest, always aiming to be fair and transparent. During my time as a teacher assistant, I had the opportunity to learn about children, which fueled my passion for teaching and being around kids. I have chosen this career because it allows me to work with children once again. By pursuing this field, I aim to better children's lives through teaching and preparing them to become successful adults.”
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”My role as a childcare worker involves providing physical care and responding to the emotional needs of children, building trust, and fostering strong relationships with them. My responsibilities include supporting children's development by offering activities that enhance their understanding of the world. For infants and toddlers, I create opportunities for them to explore and discover their interests.”
What makes you excited to work with children?
”Working with children is what drives me. I enjoy the time I spend with them and learn so much from their smart and playful nature. I love when they ask questions to satisfy their curiosity and when they share their thoughts, leading to meaningful conversations. They motivate me to grow and adapt continually.”
