Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:
"I am open-minded, patient, and strive to view situations in a positive light. I'm also a good listener and always eager to learn new things. After spending ten years in the financial sector, I felt the need for a change. Discovering the ECD course sparked my interest in expanding my knowledge of early child care, especially as I am raising two children of my own.”
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”In my view, the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider include understanding children's developmental stages and tailoring teaching methods accordingly. They should keenly observe each child's progress and intervene if development seems delayed. Additionally, childcare providers are responsible for guiding children by their individual needs by ensuring that each milestone is reached, within a suitable environment.”
What makes you excited to work with children?
”What excites me about working with children is witnessing their learning and growth firsthand. I'm thrilled by the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives and to build strong relationships based on trust. Above all, I love making learning enjoyable and fun for them.”
What is your main field of study?
