Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:

"I am a friendly and caring person, prioritising others' needs. Creativity, adventure, and a hunger for learning are essential parts of my personality. While I've always aspired to work with people and within the community, my passion for working with children came as a surprise. I now recognise the preciousness of children and feel drawn to nurturing their growth and well-being.”

What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”The role of a childcare provider is to address and meet all aspects of children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. It is their responsibility to maintain a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment, ensuring that children have access to enjoyable activities, proper meals, and consistent routines.”

What makes you excited to work with children?
”I find excitement in the laughter, the freedom for exploration, learning, and play that working with children brings. Additionally, I'm fascinated by how even the youngest ones can profoundly influence a person's life.”

What is your main field of study?

“CareChamp College Early Childhood Development Practitioner (NQF4) - Graduation: 2025.”
