"I am a mother to one awesome son. Working with kids is something I enjoy doing. It all began when I was a young adolescent and used to look after my younger siblings. Simple things in life bring joy to small children. There is continuous personal growth in yourself while working with young children. It's a really fulfilling job, especially when you can see how you actually impact children's lives for the better.

What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”A childcare provider must have patience, offer love, acceptance, appreciation, encouragement and guidance, while also supervising children to ensure their safety at all times.”

What makes you excited to work with children?
”To become familiar with each child's unique personality. Each child is different, having their own mannerisms and emotions and to be able to promote confidence and independence in each unique child is a feeling no one can describe.”

“I was able to assist the family of my client with funeral arrangements as they were going through the most with grief, it was sad but I managed to organize everything and ensured I prepare a good send off. I was proud that I could do that for my client whom I loved and respected dearly.’’

” I was introduced to a patient that had stroke so she couldn't do anything, I changed her diet plan ,she started looking healthy and recovering she would wake me up every morning excited on doing exercises improving her life and well being. That made me realise I'm not just doing this because of employment I was born to look after seniors. ”
